Course Modules Overview

Modules Overview

In the upcoming five modules, you will explore how this course seeks religious literacy as an essential good in the world today. In the course we learn how religion involves a human journey for meaning, becoming aware of our place in the cosmos, and includes both respect for life around us, and our moral response to others. We engage, learn and grow with this material in order to learn how this journey takes place around the world today.

What to Expect

Lecture-style Videos

In this first module, you’ll be invited to move lecture-style videos that introduce how spiritual guidance and authority have been understood across faith traditions, and how those understandings are being reshaped today.

Curated Readings

After the videos, you’ll engage with a set of curated readings that deepen these ideas through case studies drawn from different faith contexts, along with reflections on the financial and privacy implications of digital spiritual tools. New term? You can find definitions in the Key Technology Terms Glossary.

Reflection & Integration

The module concludes with a short reflection, offering space to pause and consider how these shifts might be showing up in your own community, context, or practice.

Now, move to the next topic where we invite you to watch the first video of the module.
