CEIE Director Dr. Michael Reid Trice speaks with Dr. David Elcott, a Professor and Author of interfaith and ethnic activism. Before retiring in 2022, he was the Taub Professor of Practice in Public Service and Leadership at the Wagner School of Public Service at NYU and director of the Advocacy and Political Action specialization. Now, Dr. Elcott serves as a Professor at the Hudson Link at Greene Haven Maximum Security Prison. Together, they discuss Elcott’s new book: “Faith, Nationalism, and the Future of Liberal Democracy.”
